Bumble into the boutique!
B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful's Blusher Brush is doubtless the most gorgeous on the face of the planet.  However, it is also by far
the most impractical. Though touting a professional price, I can assure you that not a single professional makeup artist would dare opt
to use this brush, let alone allow it to come anywhere near their makeup case for even a millisecond.  Encrusted with glitter and faux
gemstones, B's Blusher Brush is best left unused as a mere display item on your vanity, and even then, it is sure to shed glitter
wherever it may lay.  Without fail, a billion* sparkles cover everything they touch (or come close to touching):  they will cling to your
makeup bag, nestle themselves in other brushes' bristles, and even fall into your powder blusher during application.  As you hold this
brush (which comes in many different colours, mine being fuchsia), brightly coloured glints settle onto your hands, certain to make
their way onto your face.  I have yet to leave the house without at least one randomly placed hot pink piece of glitter on my cheeks, eyes,
chin, you name it.  Once this happens, good luck trying to remove it:  worst case scenario is that you have to altogether remove your
makeup and start over (not that this helps in preventing new flecks from magically appearing during reapplication).  And goodness
forbid you get face makeup from your hands onto the handle:  unless you wish to scrub it down to its unspangled bones, you're stuck
with small stains embedded in nooks and crannies, this not being terribly hygienic in the long run.  For all their blushing, brushing
beauty, B should seriously consider covering these grittily textured handles with a smooth coating of clear enamel to preserve both
creative and practical design.  As it stands now, however, despite this brush containing rich, plush, top quality goat's hair bristles
(albeit occasionally prone to falling out), it is virtually unusable. For a similar price, you're better off turning to MAC or Chanel, where you
can get a professional quality brush that's guaranteed to last a lifetime, making makeup application easier rather than harder.
Besides, what's more important:  using a brush that looks good, or using a brush that makes you look good?  I'll leave you to make
that decision for yourself.

Once upon a time a (not so) wee lass from New York was getting ready for a crucial meeting where she had to make a fabulous
impression on new clients.  From hair to makeup to clothing to accessories, everything had to be just so in order to dazzle the
corporate masses.  Applying her eye makeup, she opted to tone down her obligatory black Chanel waterproof eye liner by gently
sweeping the bristles of a stunning, so-called "professional quality" gold glitter and jewel B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful Eyeliner
brush along her lashes to achieve a softer, more conservative look.  But as soon as she set the brush on her sink, she noticed that the
white porcelain was instantly covered in hundreds of gold sparkles, released from the brush's handle upon touch down.  Being
stubborn (and quite skilled), she figured that with care, she could avoid getting this gold dust on her face.  She rinsed her hands,
placed a large square of tissue over her cheekbone, and like an artist at her canvas, she carefully smudged the outer edge of her
harsh, pencilled black line with tiny fluttering strokes, achieving a stunningly flawless fade-to-grey smoke of colour.  Quite pleased with
herself, she put her glitter-shedding brush away and washed her hands, while her inner voice sang this brush's praises for its
immaculate, firm bristled precision.  This brush, she thought, could be used to apply B's liquid kohl liners (a much better, less painful
option than using the wooden stick that comes with the pot) and if using the sides of the bristles as opposed to the tip, could even be
used to spread B's Cream Eye Shadows over the lid, imparting a more subtle, evenly covered sheen to the entire eye.  Or what about
scraping the brush's tip over a darker shade of B's Pressed Eye Shadows to gather just enough colour for a light sweep along the
lower lash line, which would add the coloured illusion of thickness to the lower lashes?  Suddenly, an optional makeup brush had
become an essential lifesaver!  But when she looked into the mirror again, what did she see?  A piece of gold glitter trapped in the
inner corner of her eye.  "That should be easy enough to remove," she thought.  Double-checking that her hands were clean, makeup
and shimmer free, she used a long clean fingernail to take a gentle swipe at the tiny fleck.  It refused to budge, and as the light fell on it
just so, she even thought it perhaps gave her a wink and a smile.  Twenty minutes and just as many swipes later, the brilliant piece of
bedazzlement had finally made its departure, though clearly not without a fight, as all of her under eye cover up and highlighter had now
effectively been removed, requiring a patchy reapplication.  But before you knew it, she was ready to knock 'em dead.  She arrived at the
five star hotel's conference room, feeling confident until...  "You have something on your chin," said one woman.  Being quite friendly,
she immediately offered to remove it.  "It's gone now; I got it.  It looks like a speck of gold glitter."  Problem assumed to be solved, an
hour later, another businesswoman said "I like your sparkly look," and two hours later, when freshening up in the ladies' room, it was
discovered that the large piece of gold glitter that had believed to be removed was now located in the center of her bottom lip, firmly
adhered to her lip colour.  At the end of the day, the girl went home, placed all of her B Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful brushes into
their pretty silk bag, and never let them out again.  The end.
